With the support of the City of Kitchener we were awarded a grant to enhance the presence of the Forest Heights Food Forest through the painting of our concrete shed.
The shed was also generously donated to the food forest from the City of Kitchener.
With the grant we were able to hire the talented local graffiti artist Jason Woodfield (aka. Woody) and teenage artist Noah Brown to create magic, with the concrete shed wall surfaces.
The crafts and refreshments were generously provided by the Forest Heights Community Association Inc., who have been champion supports of the Forest Heights Food Forest and the Edible Trails Project since their inception.
